Job Description

This role sits within our IT Operations Division – Systems Management team, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Windows-based systems and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience in Windows system administration and engineering, particularly with Windows Server and associated technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement Windows-based systems and infrastructure, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy Objects (GPO)
  • Ensure compliance, service uptime, quality, and resilience of Windows platforms through Day 2 Operations
  • Execute migrations from existing Windows platforms to newer versions or cloud-based solutions
  • Implement continuous improvements to reduce toil, optimise performance, and align with industry standards
  • Develop and manage automation scripts and PowerShell modules to streamline operations and improve efficiency
Requirements
  • Relevant university degree with at least 3 years of relevant working experience
  • Proven experience in Windows system administration and engineering, particularly with Windows Server and associated technologies
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy Object (GPO) management
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation tools
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware / OpenStack)
