Systems Engineer Role Overview">

Are you a skilled systems engineer looking to take your career to the next level? We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a systems engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for the administration and maintenance of Linux servers, RedHat Virtualization, and Ansible.

Our ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience in the administration of Linux Servers in an enterprise environment. They will also possess strong technical knowledge and experience in administration and maintenance of Linux (RedHat Linux/SUSE/CentOS) including clustering, Oracle KVM, OpenShift, Ansible automation platform, storage administration, system and network security, and shell scripting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer and maintain Linux servers, RedHat Virtualization, and Ansible
  • Provide day-to-day systems administration and operations, including 24 x 7 standby
  • Plan and perform installation, configuration, and migration of OS and related hardware and software
  • Plan and perform scheduled preventive maintenance, OS patching/upgrades/hardening, after-office hours
  • Troubleshoot incidents, system problems, and handle escalations to vendors
  • Provide system performance tuning, optimization, and capacity planning
  • Automate tasks and workflows through shell, Ansible, Python, Ruby scripts, and programming, including provisioning/deprovisioning of Virtual Machines (VMs), patching, configurations, software deployment, monitoring, and integration with other tools
Requirements/ Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent
  • At least 6 years' experience in the administration of Linux Servers in an enterprise environment
  • Strong technical knowledge and experience in administration and maintenance of Linux (RedHat Linux/SUSE/CentOS) including clustering, Oracle KVM, OpenShift, Ansible automation platform, storage administration, system and network security, and shell scripting
