Job Title: Therapy Support Specialist

We are seeking a motivated and caring Therapy Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our therapy team, you will work closely with licensed therapists to provide exceptional care to our clients.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare therapy spaces and materials for sessions.
  • Assist therapists in conducting exercises and activities, including group sessions.
  • Under the guidance of a licensed therapist, lead basic group therapy sessions with clients.
  • Support therapists during client assessments and treatment sessions.
  • Communicate session details to therapists.
  • Maintain inventory of therapy equipment and supplies.
  • E nsure a safe and clean therapy environment.
  • Participate in general housekeeping duties for therapy areas.
  • F ollow infection control procedures at all times.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including data entry.
  • Pursue ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Nitec/Diploma/WSQ Certificate in Therapy Assisting or related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
