Job Title: Therapy Support Specialist

Roles & Responsibilities:

The Therapy Support Specialist will provide exceptional support to clients in various settings. Key responsibilities include carrying out physiotherapy and occupational therapy care plans as assigned by healthcare professionals, attending to clients' needs, and assisting with lifting and transferring clients when necessary.

A comprehensive job scope includes:

  • Implementing physiotherapy and occupational therapy care plans according to client needs and goals
  • Providing emotional support and reassurance to clients
  • Assisting clients with daily activities, including mobility and self-care
  • Maintaining a safe environment for clients to perform therapies
  • Recording and documenting therapy sessions performed
  • Proper handling of rehabilitative equipment and reporting any faults to the relevant personnel

Job Requirements:

To be successful as a Therapy Support Specialist, applicants must possess:

  • Minimum 'O' level/Nitec/WSQ certificate in Therapy Services or equivalent qualification
  • At least 1 year of related experience in a healthcare setting
  • BCLS+AED certification (can obtain before starting work)
