We are seeking a skilled Therapy Support Specialist to join our team.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a dedicated team providing physiotherapy and occupational therapy care to clients. As a Therapy Support Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting therapists in carrying out care plans, attending to clients' needs, and ensuring their safety during therapy sessions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist therapists in implementing care plans as assigned
  • Provide support to clients with daily living activities and assist with lifting and transferring when necessary
  • Report any abnormalities or concerns to the relevant therapist
  • Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and update documentation accordingly
  • Ensure proper handling and maintenance of rehabilitative equipment
  • Contribute to creating a safe and supportive environment for clients to receive therapy
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum N/O level/WSQ certificate in Therapy Services or equivalent qualification
  • A minimum 1 year of experience in a related field
  • BCLS+AED certification (can be obtained before starting work)
