Semiconductor Plant Mechanical Specialist

This Mechanical Engineer position involves leading utility hook-up activities in a Semiconductor Plant. Key responsibilities include overseeing project safety, design, and planning to ensure timely completion of installations. The role requires coordination with subcontractors to guarantee smooth installation processes.
Additionally, this Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for coordinating interfacing matters, including wall openings, structures, ducts, pipes, conduits, and other items as required. Obtaining necessary approvals and permits is also a critical part of the job.
The role also involves maintaining utility mapping tables and implementing quality systems, such as on-site 6S management. This Mechanical Engineer must perform QA/QC to ensure material quality, installation quality, testing quality, and adherence to in-house and industrial standards.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Lead utility hook-up activities in a Semiconductor Plant
- Oversee project safety, design, and planning to ensure timely completion of installations
- Coordinate with subcontractors to guarantee smooth installation processes
- Maintain utility mapping tables
- Implement quality systems, such as on-site 6S management
- Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering/Project Management or relevant discipline
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience with GCS in a semiconductor plant for an Engineer position (Fresh graduates welcomed as Assistant Engineers)
- Independent, fast learner with strong social skills, able to effectively communicate with end clients and subcontractors
