Role Summary

A mechanical engineer is required for a semiconductor plant role. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling utility hook-up activities and coordinating with subcontractors to ensure smooth hookup installations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle utility hook-up activities in the semiconductor plant.
  • Assist the principal engineer in overseeing project safety, design, planning, and installation of hookup activities.
  • Coordinate work with subcontractors to ensure smooth hookup installation.
  • Coordinate interfacing matters with subcontractors, including wall openings, structures, ducts, pipes, conduits, and other items as required.
  • Obtain approval/permit and all necessary permissions.
  • Perform QA/QC to ensure material quality, installation quality, testing quality, and follow in-house and industrial standards.
Requirements
  • Diploma or degree in engineering/project management or relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience with GCS in a semiconductor plant for an engineer position. Fresh graduates are welcomed as assistant engineers.
