Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineering Leader
This is a senior leadership role responsible for leading a team of mechanical engineers, piping engineers, designers, drafters, and BIM modellers in delivering process plant projects.
- Direct and manage the team to ensure timely project completion and budget adherence.
- Provide strategic direction and oversee project delivery, ensuring efficient workflows, systems, and procedures are established.
- Implement comprehensive quality control procedures for all mechanical/piping deliverables.
Lead the design and engineering of mechanical systems with emphasis on piping work, ensuring compliance with relevant international standards, codes, and project specifications.
- Develop and review technical specifications and engineering drawings.
- Create and maintain company standard design drawings, specifications, and engineering databases.
- Drive design optimization and value engineering initiatives.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Chemical/Environmental Engineering or better.
- Minimum 15 years' proven experience in mechanical and piping engineering for process plants.
- At least 5 years' experience in leadership or team lead role.
- Extensive knowledge of piping engineering, design principles, and mechanical systems for process plants.
- Proficiency in relevant industry standards (ASME, ASTM, API, etc.) and Singapore codes of practice.
