Advancement and Philanthropy Executive

The NTU University Advancement Office seeks a seasoned Advancement and Philanthropy Executive to play a key role in supporting the University's giving mission by building and maintaining strategic relationships with key stakeholders including philanthropists, alumni, business community partners, corporations, foundations and friends.

Main Responsibilities
  • To develop and implement effective fundraising strategies that align with the University's campaign priorities.
  • To build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including donors, alumni, faculty, staff and other stakeholders at all levels.
  • To lead and facilitate gift structuring to optimise donor's gift purpose and manage the process of closing the gift.
  • To work collaboratively with the UAO Stewardship Team to cultivate and steer donors to the next level of giving.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
  • Experience in Higher Education/Not-For-Profit fundraising with an ability to achieve monthly activity targets as a key metric of performance, is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex and diverse relationships and the proven ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with proven ability to liaise, consult and negotiate confidently and professionally with donors, faculty, staff and other stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent written communication skills with extensive experience in developing business cases, proposals and presentations.
  • Well-developed planning and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and work under pressure in a fast-moving team environment.
  • Sound acumen and strong professional presence as well as a collegial work style that promotes teamwork, creativity and open communication.
  • Awareness of and sensitivity to a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • A global, socially conscious mindset with an understanding and appreciation of cultural and intercultural sensitives.
  • A proactive and solutions-oriented approach.
  • Ability to influence without authority.
