As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for creating, installing and managing our databases to ensure optimal performance. This involves analyzing database issues, monitoring performance, and implementing solutions to address any problems that may arise.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

  1. Database Maintenance and Administration
  2. Configuration
  3. Fine-tuning in coordination with the Apps Team
  4. Patching
  5. Performance optimization
  6. DB backup and recovery
  7. Planning
  8. Implementation and onboarding
  9. Testing backups
  10. Recovery procedures
  11. Troubleshooting
Required Skills & Qualifications">

To succeed in this role, you should have a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Technology, or a related field of study. Additionally, you should have at least 5 years of experience working as a Database Administrator, with AWS certification being an advantage. Experience in the Public sector and GCC is also a must.
