This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to join our organization as an Onboarding and Compliance Specialist. As an Onboarding and Compliance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth integration of new healthcare professionals into our organization while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and organizational standards.
Key responsibilities include coordinating the onboarding process for both clinical and non-clinical staff, working closely with HR, hiring managers, and credential teams to ensure timely onboarding, collecting and processing all required onboarding documents, monitoring license and certification expirations, conducting audits of employee records for accuracy, verifying professional licenses and certifications, collaborating with credentialing departments for timely processing, coordinating compliance training sessions, staying updated on healthcare compliance laws, serving as a liaison between departments and new hires, and providing ongoing support on compliance-related inquiries.
Required Skills and Qualifications- A strong background in human resources, healthcare administration, or a related field is essential.
- At least 2 years of experience in onboarding, compliance, credentialing, or HR administration, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations such as HIPAA, OSHA, CMS, and Joint Commission standards is mandatory.
- Experience with onboarding/HRIS/compliance tracking systems is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to handle sensitive information with confidentiality are also required.
