Client Onboarding Professional

We are seeking a seasoned Client Onboarding Professional to join our dynamic team in Singapore.

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering a seamless and compliant onboarding experience for high-net-worth clients in private banking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end client onboarding process for Private Banking clients.
  • Verify new account documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure onboarding files meet internal CDD and regulatory standards.
  • Evaluate the quality and credibility of Source of Wealth information.
  • Conduct name screening, assess adverse media and sanctions exposure.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all client communications.
  • Provide advisory support to the frontline on CDD policies and local regulations.
  • Escalate high-risk or reputational concerns to Compliance as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with Legal, Compliance, and Tax functions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in onboarding controls and processes.

Requirements:

  • At least 8 years of experience in AML/KYC and client onboarding, preferably in Private Banking.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements; ACAMS certification is highly valued.
  • A customer-centric mindset, strong professional integrity, and a collaborative attitude.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused.
