Job Opportunity

The role of a Data Center Facilities Management Specialist is crucial to ensure the serviceability and efficiency of all active and redundant equipment within the data center.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting routine facilities activities such as critical system checks and functional testing to guarantee optimal performance
  • Responding promptly to Mechanical and Electrical alarms/faults, identifying trends, and implementing corrective actions as needed to prevent downtime
  • Monitoring and investigating Building Management System (BMS)/ Environmental Monitoring System (EMS) alerts, providing timely feedback on outstanding issues or events, responding to emergency situations, and being on standby duty as required to maintain continuity
  • SUPPORTING Data Center projects and any additional work such as site construction activities and installations, coordinating with external contractors and testing in adherence to operational standards within the given timeline to meet business objectives
  • Evaluating and ensuring contracted service level agreements and key performance indicators are met or exceeded through regular monitoring and improvement initiatives

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering or equivalent qualifications, and/or at least 2 years of relevant working experience in Data Center facilities management and operations or facility management experiences (M&E) in building, construction, semiconductors or equivalent. Strong technical and functional skills and knowledge of facilities management and operations are essential for this role. Additionally, excellent communication skills are necessary to interact effectively with stakeholders.
