About this role:

The Assistant Director/Senior Manager, Community Partnerships provides strategic leadership and oversight of the planning, development, and execution of fundraising, donor engagement, communications, community partnerships, and volunteer management efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide vision, leadership, and direction to the team across fundraising, communications, partnerships, and volunteer engagement.
  • Translate organisational strategies into actionable departmental plans aligned with long-term goals.
  • Maintain oversight of departmental risk registers and contribute to business continuity planning.

Fundraising and Volunteer Engagement:

  • Develop and implement multi-channel fundraising strategies to achieve annual and long-term funding targets.
  • Lead the development of structured volunteer programmes, competency frameworks, and engagement strategies to grow and sustain a vibrant volunteer base.
  • Ensure all fundraising activities comply with regulatory requirements and align with ethical fundraising practices.

Communications and Brand Management:

  • Lead the development of an integrated communications strategy to strengthen brand, public awareness, and engagement.
  • Oversee content creation and management across digital, social media, print publications, and other communication platforms.

Partnerships and Development:

  • Strengthen relationships with corporates, community groups, institutions, and individuals to foster broad-based support for the mission.
  • Oversee the full partnership engagement lifecycle, including acquisition, relationship management, stewardship, and recognition across various partnership tiers.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in fundraising, communications, or stakeholder engagement, with 5+ years in a managerial capacity.

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong strategic planning and project management capabilities.
  • Digital fluency and experience managing multi-platform campaigns.
