Accounts Administrator Position

The role of an Accounts Administrator is to perform month-end closing activities and prepare monthly financial statements. This involves analyzing variances on the balance sheet and income statement, updating internal accounting databases and spreadsheets, and preparing reports for key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include liaising with auditors during the yearly audit, managing accounts payable aging and reporting, processing payments to suppliers, customers, contractors, and third-party vendors, and contacting debtors to ensure timely payment.

Additionally, this role requires preparing intercompany billings and handling various financial transactions. The ideal candidate will have a proven work experience as an Accounts Administrator or similar role, good knowledge of bookkeeping procedures and debt collection regulations, and hands-on experience with accounting software.

Advanced knowledge of Excel, solid data entry skills, good organizational and time-management abilities are also required. A BSc degree in Finance, Accounting, or a relevant field would be an advantage.
