Job Summary:

As a Junior Accountant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our company's financial records. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in accounting and finance, while contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other accounting schedules.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial transactions.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports (BS, PL, and relevant schedules).
  • Provide tax advisory support to clients and prepare GST returns and other tax filings in compliance with IRAS regulations.
  • Compile accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with SFRS and coordinate with external auditors during the audit process.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in accounting, preferably in an accounting firm.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, SAP B1) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
