Informatics Operations Specialist

Eastern General Hospital (EGH) is a leading healthcare provider seeking to deliver exceptional patient care and promote healing centered around each individual.
As part of our operations informatics team, you will collaborate with clinical leads and planning teams to support the development of new services and capabilities, while promoting patient safety and enhancing productivity.
Your responsibilities will include working with internal and external stakeholders to align informatics needs with hospital services and operational plans, coordinating workflow simulations, facilitating procurement and resourcing for assigned projects, and supporting the hospital's operational readiness, activation, and transition plans.
You will also facilitate coordination meetings with project stakeholders and provide regular reports to the Hospital Planning Committee.
Key Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Informatics or Engineering preferred
- Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience in a local hospital setting advantageous
- Strong knowledge and skills in project management and technology adoption methodologies highly advantageous
- Team player with excellent planning, analytical, and communication skills
- Critical thinking skills and willingness to think outside the box
- Ability to engage various stakeholders in a dynamic environment within a growing organization
- Capable of working under pressure and adapting to challenging conditions
