The role involves translating the CGT (Cell & Gene Therapy) asset strategy into tactical actions. This requires maintaining and optimizing the S&OP planning cycle for accurate and timely planning updates.

You will standardize material flow and inventory management to ensure the availability of materials. Streamlining warehouse flow and synchronizing warehouse activity with manufacturing is also a key responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and oversee the monthly supply planning cycle and governance.
  • Ensure key supply issues and decisions are escalated in time and aligned with feedback from all relevant stakeholders.
  • Implement control in managing raw materials and finished goods inventory to prevent losses and/or scrap.
  • Facilitate supply chain S&OP discussion and prepare for annual budget cycle discussion.
  • Liaise with all relevant stakeholders and functions to ensure the supply plan represents a consensus view of the future.
  • Ensure governance connects the supply plan with related material, labor, and asset capacity plans.
  • Input and maintain the supply plan in relevant systems including SAP IBP and SAP ECC.
  • Operate all warehouse and shipping areas in a safe, cGMP manner at all times.
  • Streamline processes and workflows to increase warehouse area efficiency.
  • Develop direct reports and build a high-performing SCM team.
  • Define responsibilities within CGT SCM operations.
  • Maintain a good working relationship with other Lonza teams.
  • Investigate and resolve all inventory discrepancies.
  • Lead representatives in area audits (internal and external).
