Building Information Modeling (BIM) Specialist

Job Description:

As a BIM Specialist, you will be responsible for generating high-quality building information models and associated metadata. This involves aligning with project guidelines and ensuring accuracy and consistency throughout the design process.

You will apply architectural design knowledge to create BIM models and assist in quality assurance processes. Experience in producing drawings, plans, and documentation from BIM models is essential, as well as adhering to project specifications.

Familiarity with industry standards on annotating up to DD Stage level of production is required. You will also update and maintain models as design changes occur, ensuring accuracy and consistency with minimal supervision.

Additionally, you will coordinate with other design disciplines on design changes and model updates, and develop and optimize Dynamo scripts to enhance workflows and project outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Urban Design, or equivalent;
  • Advanced proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Photoshop, and 3D Max;
  • Certified Professional in Revit preferred;
  • Proficiency in Revit family creation workflows, Revit/AutoCAD integration, and Microsoft Office;
  • Fluent written and spoken English is essential, or other language skills are advantageous;
  • Familiarity with Dynamo, Navisworks, and BIM360 is advantageous;
  • Awareness of IS019650 global BIM and information management standards is advantageous.
