We are seeking a Medical Support Specialist to join our team. As a Medical Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy services.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for processing medication orders, picking, packing and labeling of medicines in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOP). You will also perform medication reconciliation steps, including counting, sorting and typing of prescriptions, as well as billing functions.
You will oversee storage conditions, expiry checks, audits and reporting of defects of drug products within the institution. Additionally, you will prepare sterile and non-sterile products, assemble medication, supplies and equipment and compound products according to set procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess certain skills and qualifications. These include having a Certified Pharmacy Technician Course (CPTC) or Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science or foreign Pharmacy degree (not recognised by Singapore Pharmacy Council) or Diploma in any Discipline (if applying under Pharmacy Assistant track).
