Core Banking Solutions Architect

Job Description:
In this pivotal role, the Applications Manager spearheads the continuity and quality of Applications, while overseeing the maintenance activities of the Application system. The incumbent must ensure the proper functioning of applications, enabling their timely maintenance and upgrades. Moreover, they should propose innovative methods to enhance optimization and efficiency, facilitating seamless technical upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guarantee the uninterrupted operation of Applications and facilitate their lifecycle management.
  • Develop and implement preventive action plans to boost optimization and efficiency.
  • Deploy Continuity of Service Action Plans for Optimisation.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
To excel in this position, candidates must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field. They must also possess at least 3 years of relevant experience in the Banking industry, with a strong background in IT Security, CyberSecurity, and Risk Management. Additionally, they should have expertise in Supplier Management, Release Management, Incident Management, and Security Area Management. Strong communication, documentation, and analytical skills are essential for success in this role.

Technical Requirements:
Proficiency in Postgres SQL, Linux/AS400, IBM Cloud, Apache, JBoss, MQ messaging, Kafka messaging, RESY APIs, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, MicroServices Architecture, and Container Managed Solutions is required. Experience in Core Banking, creating Architecture diagrams, and analyzing networks, applications, and integration points is highly valued.
