Freight Forwarding Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to spearhead the establishment and growth of our freight forwarding desk for general cargo.

  • Formulate a 6-12 month sales action plan in line with our group's direction.
  • 100% hunting for new freight forwarding sales opportunities.
  • Meet and achieve specified individual sales target KPIs and budget.
  • Participate in presenting sales offers to clients including global and local tenders.
  • Scheduling and arranging client meetings as per stipulated sales outreach program.
  • Accurate and regular updating and upkeep on CRM.
  • Weekly/monthly commercial reporting to direct Manager on all sales and business development activities.

The ideal candidate will possess the relevant skill sets, capable of establishing and developing relationships with customers, transporters/brokers, carriers, and port operators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide business proposals to internal stakeholders to further support the growth of local freight forwarding desk.
  • To procure rates from existing vendor network within our organization as well as own established vendor network.
