Freight Sales Representative Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Freight Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, identifying new sales opportunities, and promoting international air and ocean freight services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make outbound calls to potential customers to introduce our freight services and promote our products.
  • Promote international air and ocean freight services to clients and ensure they are aware of the benefits of using our services.
  • Identify new sales opportunities and develop new customer accounts by building relationships and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Achieve monthly sales targets by consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports to management to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain good customer relationships and ensure high satisfaction levels by responding promptly to customer inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to understand trends and competitors and stay up-to-date on industry developments.

Requirements:

  • You must be a team player with a proactive and responsible attitude.
  • You should be self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • You must be able to handle pressure and perform well in a fast-paced environment.
  • You should have good communication and interpersonal skills and be able to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Prior experience in freight forwarding or logistics sales is an advantage but not required.
