Revenue Manager Role Overview

  • Report directly to the General Manager while maintaining a collaborative relationship with the Country Director of Revenue Management.
  • Maximize revenue and RevPAR through consistent evaluations of managed properties, focusing on pricing, inventory management, sales tactics, competitor analysis, and booking trends.
  • Keep abreast of market dynamics and pricing strategies for dining establishments, bars, and catering services in the surrounding area, working in tandem with department leaders to enhance revenue and pricing approaches.
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales Director and/or Catering Sales Manager to define catering space release policies and minimum requirements.
  • Examine market trends and positioning to uncover avenues for revenue enhancement and market share expansion.
  • Effectively manage decisions stemming from the IDeaS revenue management system.
  • Boost direct booking performance by partnering with marketing teams across various levels.
  • Oversee the online distribution strategy across all sales channels.
  • Deliver monthly revenue forecasts for the managed property.
  • Engage in budgeting and rate-setting activities.
  • Provide timely insights to the Sales Team regarding quotations.
  • Ensure rate consistency and market competitiveness.
  • Facilitate revenue meetings and contribute to discussions at the country-level revenue meetings.
  • Stay updated on market fluctuations and industry advancements.
  • Foster a culture of Revenue Management within the organization.
  • Collaborate with departments such as Sales, Marketing, F&B, Reservations, and Operations on targeted initiatives.
  • Actively contribute to the success and culture of the property, including participation in the Manager on Duty program.
