Job Title: Manufacturing Specialist

About the Role:

  • We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Specialist to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in polymer extrusion and possess strong communication skills.
  • This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain equipment, including forklifts and hand trucks.
  • Start and stop production lines according to protocol and set required parameters.
  • Keep accurate records and notes on production sheets.
  • Perform quality control and assurance tests, including sample preparation.
  • Document and communicate adjustments according to protocol.
  • Disassemble, clean, and reassemble equipment as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth production processes.

Requirements:

  • Minimum SPM passed English or 3 years' experience in Polymer Extrusion.
  • National level qualification or equivalent experience in Polymer Extrusion.
  • Forklift license required.
  • Basic knowledge of lean principles and 6-Sigma concepts.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Able to lift and carry up to 25kg.
  • Adaptable to changing duties and responsibilities.
