Product Development Lead

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role in product development. We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to lead our team of experts in designing and developing innovative medical devices.

  • Responsibilities:
    • We are looking for someone who can work closely with top management to create a product roadmap that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.
    • The successful candidate will provide technical guidance to the team, ensuring that all products meet customer requirements and regulatory standards.
    • This role requires someone who can identify and develop strategic partnerships with technology providers to support the company's product development efforts.
    • You will be responsible for providing sound technical direction for product design aspects throughout the entire lifecycle, from development to commercialization.
    • As a subject matter expert, you will stay current with new technologies and material advancements, participating in research and assessment of the industry landscape from IP, regulatory, product, and technology standpoint.
    • You will collaborate on technical reviews at various stages of design and development, ensuring that all products meet quality and safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications:
    • A minimum degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic or any other technical fields.
    • 10 years relevant experience in product development role, preferably within the medical industry or other highly regulated industries.
    • Strong fundamentals in mechanical, mechatronic, or opto-mechanical engineering.
    • Familiarity with various manufacturing technologies and processes such as machining, injection moulding, extrusion etc.
    • A proven track record in design innovation, preferably with an inventor of 10 or more patents.
    • An open and collaborative style, comfortable working in an environment where ideas are shared and challenged.
