Job Title: Cybersecurity Operations LeadWe are seeking a seasoned cybersecurity professional to join our Information Security Team as a Cybersecurity Operations Lead.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Cybersecurity Incident Response and Security Operations, with a proven track record of identifying and mitigating security threats. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective security strategies, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless incident response and management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive security policies and procedures.
  • Lead incident response efforts, collaborating with technical teams to identify root causes and develop remediation plans.
  • Manage the Security Operations Center, ensuring 24/7 monitoring and response to security incidents.
  • Collaborate with threat intelligence teams to stay ahead of emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
  • At least 5-6 years of experience in Cybersecurity Incident Response and Security Operations.
  • Demonstrated expertise in information security, with a focus on cyber security operations, incident response, and detection.
  • Proven experience working in a Security Operations Centre and/or Computer Incident Response Team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, combined with hands-on experience doing root cause analysis and post-incident reviews.
  • Solid knowledge of computer networks and common protocols.
  • Knowledge of prominent cyber threat actors and APT groups.
  • Experience with Threat Intelligence Platforms and SIEM (especially Splunk).
  • Professional security-related qualifications (e.g., CISSP) will be an advantage.
Preferred Certifications:
  • CISSP, CISM, CISA, ISMS, TOGAF, SABS.
Additional Requirements:
  • Good interpersonal skills.
