Job Title: Microbiologist I

Key Responsibilities:
  • To perform quality control microbiological testing of raw materials, incoming goods, intermediates, and/or finished products under cGMP conditions for QC release or as part of stability studies
  • To support monitoring for facility's utilities systems
  • To support equipment qualification
  • To perform and coordinate calibration, and maintenance of laboratory equipment
  • To be involved in aseptic process simulations
  • To support method

A strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is essential for this role.

Requirements:

We are looking for an experienced Microbiologist I to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing various tasks including quality control microbiological testing, utility system monitoring, equipment qualification, and laboratory equipment calibration and maintenance.

To be successful in this position, you must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You should also possess a high level of attention to detail and be able to maintain accurate records.

In addition to your technical skills, you should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with colleagues, management, and external partners.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Microbiology, Biology or a related field and relevant experience in a similar role.

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines. You will be required to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.

You will be working in a cleanroom environment and will be required to follow strict protocols and procedures to ensure the quality of our products.
