**Job Title: Lab Technician**
**Department: O&M (BIOGAS)**
**Reports to: Operations Director (OD)**
**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Follow OD / Senior Operator's(SO) instructions to assist in the Plant’s Lab analysis
- To ensure smooth daily safe operations of laboratory
- To ensure compliance of SOPs and ISO standards
- Ensure Lab SOPs are valid and updated. To revise procedure (if required)
- Ensure availability of chemicals reagents and laboratory items. To handle procurement
- To Troubleshoot any deviations and resolve any nonconformances of test results.
- To conduct laboratory analysis and due diligence reporting.
- To carry out calibration and maintenance of all laboratory equipment as per planned schedule and maintain at scheduled interval.
- To always ensure good housekeeping in the laboratory.
- To update the relevant records
- To work harmoniously with colleagues in the same department and other department
- To ensure safe working environment in lab.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the OD/SO and/or Management.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum ITE / Diploma or related discipline
- Minimum 1 years of experience in Biogas / chemical / wastewater plant operations
- Experience in water treatment processes such as UF and RO membrane operation will be an added advantage.
- Able to converse in English and PC literate.
- Able to work independently and as a team.
