Electrical Installation Specialist

The role of Electrical Installation Specialist involves being a key member of the installation team, responsible for ensuring customer premises are ready for EV charger installations.

  1. Conduct thorough site assessments to guarantee customer premises meet necessary standards.
  2. Operate company vehicles safely to transport installers, tools, and equipment to project sites, adhering to all traffic regulations.
  3. Lead and supervise a team of installers in executing EV charger installations according to established company protocols and regulations.
  4. Effectively communicate with customers on installation day, addressing queries and ensuring smooth handovers upon completion.
  5. Configure and test EV chargers, including performing firmware updates as required, to ensure optimal performance.
  6. Educate customers on charger operation and usage of associated mobile applications, promoting efficient use.
  7. Maintain accurate and detailed service logs, generating reports for management review to inform future decision-making.

Requirements for this position include:

  • A minimum Higher Nitec in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in electrical or EV industry, with a strong understanding of relevant technologies and systems.
  • Possession of a valid Class 3 / 3A Singapore driver's license.
  • EV Charger Equipment Specialist certification is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills, enabling effective interaction with diverse client base and stakeholders in English and Mandarin.
