Mechanical Design Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to support our design initiatives. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience in project execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish effective relationships with clients and contractors from other organizations.
  • Carry out duties in accordance with industry-standard procedures and implement prescribed systems of work.
  • Understand design philosophy/design fundamentals and communicate engineering solutions to stakeholders.
  • Perform complex engineering calculations using software such as Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Full Hydraulic Calculation (FHC).
  • Familiarize yourself with Architect, Structural/Service Engineers drawings/specifications.
  • Carry out investigative and technical review works.
  • Responsible for the development and production of detailed drawings/calculations/specifications/reports.
  • Set an example for junior engineers.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
  • At least 1 year of working experience in the consultancy firm in the design of ACMV, fire, and hydraulic services.
  • Experience as a Contractor in project execution will be considered.
  • Experience in Energy Storage System (ESS) / Capability in carbon, sustainability, resources conservation, and renewables will be an added advantage.
  • Candidates must carry out tasks and duties assigned in a positive and dignified manner.
