Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to fill a challenging position.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and preparing manufacturing drawings of electrical switchboards.

  • Design and prepare manufacturing drawings of electrical switchboards
  • Assemble modular drawings based on panel design
  • Perform weight, heat loss calculations and air flow simulations as required
  • Prepare material order lists for mechanical parts
  • Liaise with vendors for material enquiries
  • Work closely with manufacturing and production teams
  • Perform other duties as directed by supervisor

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate should have a minimum Diploma/NITEC in Mechanical Engineering and possess knowledge in BIM, VertexG4 and AutoCad M&E 3D drawings. A mechanical background with 2D and 3D drafting skills is also essential.
