Animal Care Professional

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Animal Care Professional to join our team. As an essential member of our staff, you will provide vital support for diagnosis and treatment, manage the front desk, and collaborate with veterinarians to deliver excellent patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Front Desk Management: Manage the reception desk, respond to client inquiries in a professional and courteous manner, and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Clinical Support: Assist veterinarians with daily tasks, such as consultations and surgery, and contribute to hospital treatments, lab tests, and maintaining accurate records of patient data.
  • Anesthesia Monitoring: Monitor anesthesia levels during surgery and adhere to strict protocols and guidelines.
  • Inventory Management: Perform administrative duties, including managing stock and maintaining inventory records.
  • Clinic Operations: Collaborate with veterinary staff to complete diagnostic imaging procedures and ensure smooth clinic operations.
  • Sanitation and Hygiene: Ensure the clinic remains clean and hygienic by adhering to strict health and safety standards.

Requirements:

  • A Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Veterinary Bioscience, or similar).
  • At least 1 year of experience working with animals, preferably in a clinical setting.
  • Caring, dependable, and comfortable working with animals in various situations.
  • Ability to work weekends on a rotating 4-day work week schedule.
