Animal Care Specialist

Mandai Wildlife Reserve is home to a unique blend of wildlife and nature, connecting visitors to the fascinating world of animals. As part of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the well-being and care of animals through proper food preparation and feeding regimes, as well as animal husbandry.

  • We are seeking an individual with a strong passion for animal welfare and a desire to contribute to our mission of connecting people with nature.
  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum 'N/O' levels or Diploma holder in Life Sciences, and possess a confident and outgoing personality with excellent communication skills.
  • You will work closely with our team to provide exceptional care and experiences for our animals, and be committed to maintaining high standards of animal welfare and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective animal care plans to ensure the health and well-being of animals in our care.
  • Conduct daily observations and record-keeping to monitor animal behavior and identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist in guided tours, feedings, and other guest interaction sessions/programmes to provide exceptional visitor experiences.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 'N/O' levels or Diploma holder in Life Sciences.
  • Confident, outgoing personality and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work on Saturdays/Sundays/Public Holidays.
