Job Title: Test Technician

The primary role of this position is to perform testing on mechanical products according to established test plans and work instructions.

Responsibilities include assisting in product validation and qualification, performing product mechanical testing, ensuring testing is completed within set timeframe, identifying defects, creating accurate test reports, participating in initial test setups and defect troubleshooting, and maintaining test equipment.

  • Assist in validating products during development phases.
  • Perform mechanical testing based on established plans and instructions.
  • Evaluate and ensure that testing is completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Identify defects and create detailed reports for engineers.
  • Participate in setting up initial tests and preparing test materials.
  • Contribute to defect identification and root cause analysis.
  • Maintain and calibrate test equipment to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements include a diploma in mechanical engineering or relevant studies, a minimum of one year of experience in mechanical testing or a similar role, proficiency with Microsoft programs (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word), and advantageous experience in plastic injection or electro-mechanical assembly, mechanical design, and material properties.

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant studies.
