This is an exciting opportunity to grow your career as a Business Development Manager in a dynamic and innovative company. In this role, you will be responsible for growing the client accounts base, developing a pipeline of leads for conversion, and servicing assigned and acquired client accounts.
Key Responsibilities:- Grow the Client Accounts Base
- Support expansion to new markets and lead acquisition in countries such as Hong Kong, China, and more.
- Build own pipeline of leads for conversion through own network and engagement of online leads.
- Follow up leads assigned (both onshore and offshore) and engage prospects to convert to client accounts for subscription of our platform and services.
- Carry individual sales targets, including minimum 4 new clients onboarded per year and contributing 33% of new-to-company FARs.
- Service Assigned and Acquired Client Accounts
- Support the client account servicing of current 10 clients and additional new clients that are converted.
- Account servicing scope includes regularly and proactively engaging existing clients, managing all communications, gathering feedback, and deepening relationships to onboard more support services with our company.
- Carry target to measure deepening of relationship, aiming for getting 20% of existing clients to onboard more services with our company.
- Be Trained as Platform-User Knowledge Expert
- Hold in-depth knowledge of our platform from an advisor-user perspective and understand features and functions of all modules.
- Support selling, training, and onboarding of new clients.
- Able to work with our tech team to provide user requirements for enhancements and fixes, and perform business live-verification for tech deployments.
- Systamatically Onboard New Clients Acquired
- In-depth knowledge of financial needs analysis and sales process preferred.
- Tech-savvy and able to work with tech-counterparts to provide user requirements, review user stories, and perform business verification for feature deployment.
- Minimum 5-7 years experience in insurance advisory sales, relationship management in a financial industry, B2B sales, or sales/business development environment.
- Experienced in carrying sales targets and driving sales performance.
- Network of financial advisory firms and advisors contacts a plus.
- Eloquent in English and Mandarin, able to conduct sales engagement in both languages.
- Team player, collaborative, respectful, accountable, responsible, and values integrity.
- Resourceful, proactive, self-driven, good interpersonal skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
