Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior EHS Engineer to join our team at People Profilers Pte Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of safety and environmental compliance across our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret and implement applicable legal and regulatory requirements, as well as industry standards and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain emergency response plans, conduct regular audits and drills, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Liaise with local authorities and stakeholders to address EHS issues and represent the company in relevant meetings.
  • Manage EHS incident investigations, track corrective actions, and implement risk reduction measures.
  • Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and industrial hygiene and environmental samplings to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Develop and implement EHS training programs, promote employee awareness, and establish EHS objectives and targets.
  • Manage contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with EHS regulations and company policies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory changes to ensure the company remains compliant and competitive.
Requirements
  • Degree or diploma in Safety, Health, and Environmental Management or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in EHS management.
  • Proven experience in the oil or petrochemical industry, preferably on Jurong Island.
  • Registration as a WSH Officer with MOM and Fire Safety Manager (FSM) with SCDF.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
