Social Work Specialist

The position of a Senior Assistant Social Worker plays a pivotal role in managing caseloads and implementing intervention plans.
This key position involves supporting the Centre's casework system, providing information and referral services, and fostering relationships with community partners. The ASSW will also lead group and community work programmes, collaborate with organizations, and perform additional duties assigned by the Supervisor and Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Casework & Counselling
- Maintain a reasonable caseload and provide clinical supervision for Social Work Practitioners.
- Identify and assess client needs, plan and implement appropriate intervention plans.
- Support the agency's casework system including administration, intake, referral, evaluation, and closure of cases.
- Information & Referral
- Provide relevant information and referral services to individuals seeking assistance.
- Support the agency's I&R standard operating system, including administration, intake, referral, outcome follow-up, and closure of I&R.
- Network and outreach to residents and partners in the community to identify and explore community needs.
- Social Work Programme Development
- Lead in planning, coordination, monitoring, and review of Groupwork and Community Work programmes.
- Liaise and work with organizations and partners to facilitate effective work with residents in the community.
- Supervise staff in programme development and implementation.
