Job Title: Social Work Specialist

The role of a Social Work Specialist is to provide empathetic and organized support to individuals in need, working collaboratively as part of a dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct home visits or telecare sessions to assess clients' emotional, social, and physical well-being, fostering strong relationships built on trust and empathy.
  • Offer tailored advice on available resources and programs to meet individual needs, ensuring seamless access to essential services.
  • Guide volunteers and acquaint them with clients during visitation or engagement activities, promoting meaningful connections and community involvement.
  • Follow up with non-active clients via phone calls or newsletters, maintaining regular communication and encouraging continued participation.
  • Motivate clients to participate in various programs, services, and community initiatives, empowering them to achieve their goals and improve overall well-being.
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Social Work, WSQ Diploma in Community Care or Social Service, or equivalent qualifications.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in the social service sector is an advantage.
  • A team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Patience, empathy, and strong listening skills to effectively engage and support clients, tailoring approaches to meet diverse needs.
