Job Title: Certified Quality Assurance

About this Role:

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality management, with experience in managing project QA/QC documents, developing Inspection and Test Plans, and implementing Non-Conformance Report (NCR)/Corrective Action Report (CAR) procedures.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting material control work, receiving inspections of materials, verifying whether materials conform to the Approved Vendor List (AVL), and performing receiving inspections for each batch of incoming materials.

They will also be responsible for QA/QC work in the fabrication & assembly phase, including welding inspection of carbon steel pipes/stainless steel pipes. This includes pre-welding inspection, welding inspection, and verification of surface quality and chemical cleaning records for stainless steel pipes.

In addition, the QA Engineer will be responsible for QA/QC work in the installation phase, including equipment installation, HVAC and cleanroom systems, and piping installation. They will also be responsible for testing and pre-commissioning work, creating test boundaries for each construction system, conducting hydrostatic tests/pneumatic tests, and supervising third parties in carrying out airflow balance testing (TAB - Testing, Adjusting & Balancing).

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to work under pressure. They will also hold relevant professional qualification certificates, such as welding inspector certificates (CSWIP 3.1, CSWIP 3.2, AWS OR CWI).

Key Requirements:

  • Familiarity with relevant international standards, such as ASME and client standards, and understanding of the processes and methods of engineering quality control.
  • At least 3 years of relevant engineering QA/QC work experience, with experience in chemical, construction, and other projects preferred.
  • Possession of good communication skills, strong sense of responsibility, and ability to work under certain pressure.
  • Holding relevant professional qualification certificates, such as welding inspector certificates (CSWIP 3.1, CSWIP 3.2, AWS OR CWI).
