Biomedical Technical Specialist

The role of Biomedical Technical Specialist is pivotal in maintaining biomedical equipment, ensuring seamless functionality and optimal performance. This position requires a skilled professional to provide administrative and technical support for maintenance activities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Respond to complaints and perform routine maintenance on biomedical equipment from wards and clinical departments.
  • Utilize iLOG to track work orders, monitor status, and facilitate follow-up actions.
  • Assist in the commissioning of new medical equipment and coordinate calibration testing as required.
  • Ensure adherence to preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, subcontractors, and users to procure spare parts as needed.
  • Perform additional duties assigned by the Manager.

Key Requirements:

  • Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in healthcare or medical electronics industry.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and computer hardware/networking fundamentals.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including On Call/Standby Duty after office hours or weekends/public holidays.
