Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

 

  • Overview
    • As a seasoned Quality Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable products by creating robust testing frameworks and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Responsibilities:
    • Develop and maintain test strategies, frameworks, and plans covering both functional and non-functional testing.
    • Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams to create and execute testing plans across the product lifecycle.
    • Drive best practices in Quality Engineering, including CI/CD pipelines, automation, and testing standards.
    • Own testing delivery from requirement analysis through to product release.
    • Identify risks, blind spots, and performance gaps while recommending corrective actions.
    • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the QA team, helping them adopt automation, BDD, and TDD approaches.
  • Requirements
    • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Quality Engineering, preferably in cloud, SaaS, eCommerce, or internet-based environments.
    • Strong background in working with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and scripting languages like Python, JavaScript, etc.
    • Proven experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, Robot Framework, QTP, Silk, or Watir.
    • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and experience in cross-functional teams practicing CI/CD.
    • Knowledge and application of Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
  • Nice-to-Have Skills
    • Exposure to Non-Functional Testing (security, load, performance).
    • Experience leading large-scale projects or products in collaboration with business, design, and technology teams.
    • Familiarity with automated deployment and release engineering processes.
