Job Title: BIM Project Coordinator

The job of a BIM Project Coordinator revolves around effectively implementing Building Information Modeling strategies across various construction projects. The position demands excellent leadership skills, technical proficiency, and outstanding collaboration with project stakeholders.

This role requires an individual to lead a team of BIM coordinators/modelers in different disciplines, including architecture, civil engineering, mechanical, and electrical.

The ideal candidate should be well-versed in determining BIM requirements and developing comprehensive execution plans. They must establish and maintain BIM standards, protocols, and workflows.

In addition, the coordinator will be responsible for managing the Project's Common Data Environment (CDE) and folders/filing structure. They will also facilitate effective collaboration among project team members to ensure proper integration and coordination of BIM models and data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing BIM strategies to achieve project goals and objectives
  • Leading a team of BIM coordinators/modelers across various disciplines, including architecture, civil engineering, mechanical, and electrical
  • Collaborating with project stakeholders to determine BIM requirements and develop a comprehensive execution plan
  • Establishing and maintaining BIM standards, protocols, and workflows
  • Managing the Project's Common Data Environment (CDE) and folders/filing structure
  • Facilitating effective collaboration among project team members to ensure proper integration and coordination of BIM models and data
  • Maintaining the integrity and quality of BIM models throughout the project lifecycle
  • Preparing, managing, and monitoring clash detection analysis reports, model changes records, and 3D coordination schedules
  • Providing training and support to project team members on BIM software tools, processes, and standards

This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
