Unlocking Success as a BIM Coordinator

As a skilled BIM Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in utilizing cutting-edge 3D BIM software to create models for drawing documentation and streamline team coordination.

  • Develop construction-ready technical detail drawings, extract BOMs from BIM, and ensure full compliance with project specifications.
  • Collaborate closely with the BIM Manager to coordinate between the project team and external parties regarding BIM information exchange and technical coordination.
  • Establish the initial BIM project and technical administration protocol using industry-standard templates and office-wide guidelines.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with project BIM teams across different disciplines to facilitate the timely completion of the model for regular BIM coordination meetings.
  • Facilitate and assemble technical coordination models for clash detection meetings and other BIM related coordination functions.
  • Monitor and maintain the BIM model to ensure it remains up-to-date and compliant with industry standards.
  • Support project team members in troubleshooting and resolving BIM issues and promoting office-wide BIM practices.
  • Work closely with the project team to plan and prepare project deliverables.
  • Provide support to the project team in duties related to BIM.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience working on BIM projects as BIM Coordinator.
  • Degree in Architecture, Structure, or Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of Autodesk Building Design Suite software including Revit Architecture.
  • Experience in Navisworks and any clash detection software's.
  • Knowledge in BIM 360 / ACC.
  • Well-versed in Singapore BCA BIM e-submission process, requirements, and guidelines.
  • Ability to work extended hours when necessary.
  • Good communication, reading, and writing skills in both English and Chinese to effectively liaise with Chinese associates.
