Job Title: BIM Project Coordinator

Role Overview:

The BIM Project Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the BIM Manager to oversee Building Information Modeling activities across projects. This role involves coordinating with design teams, ensuring compliance with BIM standards, and assisting in the development, implementation, and maintenance of BIM processes and technologies.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supports the BIM Manager in implementing BIM execution plans and strategies for projects.
  • Assists project teams in model setup, coordination, clash detection, and issue resolution.
  • Ensures BIM deliverables are submitted on time and meet quality standards.
  • Helps manage the Common Data Environment (CDE) and oversees model/data sharing workflows.
  • Conducts quality checks on BIM models to ensure accuracy, standards compliance, and coordination.
  • Assists in training and guiding project teams on BIM software and workflows (e.g., Revit, Navisworks).
  • Maintains up-to-date documentation and assists with the development of BIM templates and libraries.
  • Stays informed on BIM trends, tools, and industry standards, particularly within the local construction context.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Architecture/Engineering/Construction, Specialist Diploma in BIM or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience in BIM coordination or digital design, with at least 2 years in BIM Management.
  • Strong skills in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Autodesk Docs, and tools like Enscape, VRcollab, or Revizto.
  • In-depth knowledge of BIM standards and workflows (e.g., ISO 19650).
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and time management skills.
