The Role:

We are seeking a talented professional to join our team as an Assistant Manager/Manager (Partnership Lab - Ground-up Partnerships). This dynamic role involves designing and delivering key grants and/or platforms to support youths and informal youth groups, forging and maintaining relationships with diverse stakeholders, and administering relevant grants to support youth ground-up initiatives.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assessing and administering grants to ground-up youth groups, including applications and closures, ensuring proper governance and accounting.
  • Driving process developments and improvements to grants and collaborating with internal stakeholders to review key processes and implement changes to enhance the overall experience.
  • Performing data processing, management, and reporting.

Additionally, this role requires proposing new ways to grow and forge partnerships that encourage and enable youth action, supporting youth-led ground-up projects by connecting them to relevant networks, amplification channels, mentors, grants, and potential partners, and coordinating and organizing monthly Open Mics.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and inspire trust with young people and stakeholders. They should also have good written and verbal communication skills, critical thinking, and project management skills, with the ability to handle numbers effectively. Team players who can work independently with guidance are highly sought after.
