Job Title: Sheetmetal Cost Estimator

We are seeking a highly skilled Sheetmetal Cost Estimator to join our team. As a Sheetmetal Cost Estimator, you will be responsible for calculating the base manufacturing cost for all new projects.

You will liaise with the purchasing department for all standard items and finishing process quotes from suppliers. You will also update and maintain RFQ Logs, notify customers during quotations on process capability and material availability, and make recommendations.

Your role will involve defining manufacturing processes to ensure product cost estimation is competitive. You will recommend product design changes for easy/low-cost manufacturing to customers.

To succeed in this role, you will require at least a Diploma/Degree in Engineering field. You must be able to read mechanical drawings and have 2-5 years' relevant experience performing cost estimation in the sheetmetal industry.

You will possess analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent oral and written communication skills for effective communication. You will work efficiently, using MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

The working hours are 8:15 am to 5:30 pm (Monday-Friday). The location is Changi North. Candidates can apply online with an updated resume.
