Job Description
Responsible to calculate the base manufacturing cost for all new projects.
Liaise with purchasing department for all standard items & finishing process quote from supplier and comply into quotation work sheet.
Update and maintain RFQ Log
Notify customer during quotation on process capability and material availability (if any) and make recommendation.
Define manufacturing process (e.g. Laser/Turret process) to ensure product cost estimation is competitive.
Recommend product design change for easy/low cost manufacturing to customer
The Requirements:
At least a Diploma / Degree in Engineering field.
Able to read mechanical drawings
2 to 5 years’ relevant experience performing cost estimation in sheetmetal industry
Proficient with computers and in using MS word, Excel, Power point.
Possess analytical and problem- solving skills, excellent oral and written communications skills for effective communication.
Other information:
Working Hours : 8.15am to 5.30pm (Mon-Fri)
Location : Changi North
Company Bus : Pick up at Ang Mo Kio, Yishun, Hougang, Punggol, Pasir Ris, Bedok, Tampines MRT/Interchanges
