Job Description

Our organization seeks a skilled Air Conditioning Specialist to join our team. As an Air Conditioning Specialist, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.

You will identify potential maintenance risks on equipment, diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems, clean, adjust, and repair systems, and perform warranty services.

Additionally, you will provide technical direction and on-the-job training, keep daily logs and records of all maintenance functions, ensure compliance with appliance standards and the Occupational Health and Safety Act, and comply with service standards and work instructions.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Air Conditioning: Proficiency in installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems and equipment.
  • Vacuum Pumps: Experience with vacuum pumps and their application in HVAC systems.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Knowledge of preventive maintenance techniques to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Troubleshooting: Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex HVAC system issues.
  • Water: Familiarity with water-based HVAC systems and their operation.
  • Technical Direction: Ability to provide technical guidance and support to colleagues.
  • HVAC: Comprehensive knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
  • Electrical: Understanding of electrical circuits and components related to HVAC systems.
  • Compliance: Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
