
Conference Event Manager

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and executing various events, including corporate roundtables, seminars, webinars, and other bespoke initiatives.
">They will work closely with the Regional Content & Strategy Director to develop event formats, agendas, and content that meet the needs of corporate audiences from the marketing and advertising industries.
">">Key responsibilities include:
">- ">
- Developing programs that provide value to sponsors and delegates through physical and digital channels;">
- Learning and understanding how virtual and physical events can be deployed to maximize ROI for sponsors and enhance delegate experience;">
- Building and maintaining relationships with advisory panels, recruiting high-profile speakers, and communicating effectively with sponsors and speakers' bureaus;">
- Identifying and acquiring compelling speakers of industry influencers and business leaders;">
- Introducing innovative formats to increase audience engagement;">
- Working collaboratively with in-house marketing teams to drive marketing efforts and increase event visibility;">
- Leading sponsor onboarding processes to ensure maximum value from sponsor investments;">
- Participating in regular internal project meetings to ensure effective communication with key stakeholders and timely project management;">
- Ongoing sponsor and speaker management to execute conferences to the highest standard and stakeholder satisfaction;">
Required skills and qualifications include:

- Excellent verbal communication skills;">
- Good copywriting skills in English;">
- Strong commercial acumen and customer focus;">
- Comfortable conducting telephone calls and face-to-face meetings with senior industry leaders;">
- Proficient at multi-tasking and working on multiple projects simultaneously;">
- Engaging, professional, and diplomatic demeanor;">
- Passionate, dedicated, and able to produce profitable hybrid conferences;">
- Able to exude confidence in handling internal and external stakeholders and demonstrate problem-solving skills;">
- Able to innovate, take calculated risks, and think outside the box to propose and execute new ideas;">
- Ability to travel overseas when required for event execution;">
- Minimum 1 year of experience preferred, but entry-level candidates welcome.">
